Meeting on 12th May 2020 postponed due to corona virus

Regrettably, the Parish Council is still unable to hold face to face public meetings, so the Annual Parish Meeting and the Parish Council AGM, both of which were due to be held at the Village Hall,this coming Tuesday evening (12th May), have been postponed. However the government’s Covid 19 emergency legislation enables Parish Councils to meet remotely via an electronic platform. Village action to slow traffic speed

The Parish Council has been working with local volunteers and Gloucestershire County Council to reduce traffic speed along the A4136 through Staunton following the publication of its recent Road Safety Strategy. The County Council presented us with a special road sign in late 2016, known as a 'speed indicative device,' which alerts drivers by flashing up the speed of their vehicle as it approaches.
